Well I am a Jason Aldean girl,allll the way. I've seen him in concert 3 times and about to make my fourth! Next Thursday im going to Columbus, GA with Kellie! We got pit tickets and are planning to get there early enough to get front row! AHHHHH SO EXCITED!!! I love his new CD SOOO much! Country Boy World is my favorite I think :) I'll see if I can You Tube it and I'll post it!

I love this quote. I think everyone struggles with courage. Lack of, too much, what have you. I feel like if there's something that takes courage in my life, I don't get it right when I need it. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I do, it just depends. But sometimes it takes a few hours, days, even weeks. Thats okay with me. But this quote really speaks to me. It's okay to keep trying and trying. It's the courage to start, and continue that counts.

well..

scratch that last post. won't be going anymore. I'm sad, really  really sad. my other grandmother fell today and cant walk. so mom cant leave her and there's no one else to go with me. so this once in a life time opportunity is no more. I'm sad because my grammy is hurt and because I don't get to meet on of my idols. I just hate when I get my hopes up and it never works out. I feel like that's always the case lately. I mean I was SO excited about this. I told everyone. Even people who don't know who she is or care one bit. Oh well life goes on.

This Saturday I am going to Atlanta in hopes of meeting the original cake pop lady! I am so excited. I have followed her blog/ website for probably a year now... She's so funny and creative. Such an inspiration to me as a baker! She has published a book and is doing a signing tour all over North America. When I found out she would be in Atlanta I became SUPER excited and immediately text my mom. She said we may not be able to go because my grandfather is in the hospital. They found a mass on his pancreas a few weeks ago. He isn't doing well, they are just taking it day by day. Please keep him in your prayers! However, we are getting to go to Atlanta and will probably come back through Birmingham to spend time with him. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I've always been a T. Swift girl! Love her! She tells it like it is! I love this song because, honestly, I've always had dreams that my "one" was that close to marrying the wrong person. Let's hope I don't have to bust up and break up a wedding, or the other way around. haha! Enjoy!

Can't Stop Smiling!

I got my official acceptance letter to UNA today!!!! I was seriously like a little child filled with excitement when I opened it! I NEVER thought I would go through all the school situations that I have, so far, but I truly feel like this is THE place for me. I have prayed so much about it and I feel like God has great things in store for me in Florence!!!! I literally can't stop smiling! Life is so good :) Now all I have to do is register for classes and find somewhere to live for the spring semester! I am planning to live with my BFF Laura next year! I should have gone to UNA when she did, but I learned my lesson!!!

Trainer

WHEWWW WEE!! I started with a personal trainer this morning!! I am soooo excited about it! I usually walk but I wanted to go above and beyond. Today was my first day, and my arms felt like jello but other than that I feel great! I'm posting this so if anyone reads it you can ask me how my training is going to make sure I'm keeping up with it! One lady in the gym this morning asked me, "Do you know what you're getting yourself in to??" "Um, nooo but here goes!" she said, "whatever you do don't give up! You may feel like you want to but keep going. You can do it!" so thank you nice lady for the encouragement!!!

Another thing, if I begin to look like this. Someone STOP me!! bahaha jk that won't happen. Just trying to get fit :)

Halloween Treats!

As you know, I love cooking and baking. I saw a cute picture of pumpkin cake pops and decided to make them. I also let my imagination get wild and I came up with some other fun Halloween theme pops!! I have my first order for tomorrow!!! So exciting! I'm not going to be able to make them all the time, however I do plan to tae a few orders. I am selling them for 75 cents a pop if I have single pops available. Obviously I cant make a whole batch of them just because someone wants one pop. Minimum orders will be 12 pops at 70 cents a pop. Any amount over 12 will be 65 cents each. If someone needs an order in the higher numbers, we will work that out then! They are SO VERY time consuming and I would love to charge $5 for EACH pop, haha, but since I'm just doing this as a hobby I am keeping the prices low just to cover the cost to make them. Alabama vs. Florida

Tuscaloosa this past weekend was SOOOO much fun!! It was my first time back since I moved back home so it was bittersweet. But, I was reassured that it wasn't for me!! I love it to visit still tho!

Have you ever wanted something REALLY bad. Like you would do anything for it? Whether it be clothes, a relationship, a new car, cookies, etc. You get the picture. I am pretty positive everyone has. And sometimes, we always want what we can't have. And sometimes, we really don't want it at all. We just want to get it to say that we have it. I've struggled with that a whole lot lately. Trying to decide whether it is something I really want or if I just want to get it and throw it away.  When someone hurts you its safe to say that most people want to hurt them back. I know I do. It's not one of my best qualities and I actually feel terrible about it. But that's how I feel right now. Sometimes we are just looking for something to fill a hole in us. Shoes are going to fill it. Boys/girls aren't going to fill it. All the chocolate ice cream on the planet isn't going to fill it. Yes, we might thing these things fill it, and they may temporarily. But I can PROMISE you that an hour, week, month, or year down the road we may find that whole re opened. The only thing that will ever fill the emptiness inside of us is the love of Jesus Christ. He will fill our holes. He will love us unconditionally. All we have to do is put our trust in Him.

Last Friday Night

I went to a concert this past Friday!! I LOVE concerts and this one didn't let down. it was Colt Ford, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert!! LOVED IT!! Colt is a country rapper and so hilarious!! Miranda is such a bad a** girl!! And her and Blake are engaged. so cute! It was at the Redstone Arsenal so we couldn't take pictures (*weren't supposed to take pictures) but I got a few.. and I posted a song by Miranda. It's so beautiful and I know that the house I live in now definitely built me.

Football Season

Today it begins!!!! I am really sad that I'm not in Tuscaloosa for gameday. :( I haven't missed being there until now. My dorm was right across from the stadium. Gosh I miss seeing the mass amounts of crimson. But, that's part of it I guess! I may go to the game next weekend tho if I can find someone to drag along :)

It's been 8 months exactly since I've seen one of the funniest guys ever. It was New Years Eve. I miss him so badly. He was always so fun to be around and had the most distinct laugh. When I lost my dad, Ethan was the very first person I had to say "my dad died" too. He was fishing on the dock next door and I had just met him. He asked if we were having a party, when really it was just all the people coming to show us their love and support. In that was I always felt a special connection to Ethan... There are way to many stories to tell, but I just thought I'd share some pictures :)

That's What I Love About Sundays

This weekend had been great!! Friday night I went with Holley and Hilliary to see their baby cousin, Shelbie Jayne. She's such a doll!! I was so glad to see Holley since she was home for the weekend! Saturday I went to a Premier Jewelry party and I bought a pair of earrings. They are just rhinestones with a pretty silver and gold setting. Just simple ones that I can wear every day! I can't wait until they come in! Saturday night I hung out with Kendall!!! We had so much fun!! I feel like they haven't even been gone to Auburn for a few weeks. I'll be visiting there soon :) Today has been a lazy rainy day. I have been watching a movie network all afternoon. I should probably start some homework.... I thought I'd post a few of my favorite things today!

Me and mom went to Wal-Mart after lunch today and I wanted some nail polish. I remember when I was younger every time we would go to Wal-Mart I would BEG for some bon-bons nail polish. It's just $1 so I decided to get one today. I love fun colors for my nails!

We also saw this cinnamon sugar febreeze and got it! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Fall and this scent reminds me of it :)

I got this Twilight Woods lotion and spray from Bath and Body Works last week and It smells so good! It's good for fall too. I love B&BW but I always tend to spend a small fortune in there. I bought 3 lip glosses last time I was there.. 3! i also got a cute little hand sanitizer and a holder for it for my key chain. Love it. The scent is candy corn.. can't you tell I'm ready for Fall:)

Granny Peg Cookies

Okay so ever since I can remember, my grandmother had made these amazing cookies! I mean they are just perfect. The best ones are at Christmas time. Christmas trees! Duh! Halloween is ghosts, Valentine's Day- hearts...well you get the picture. I was tired of waiting for holidays to have them. Since baking is one of my favorite past times I decided I needed to make them with her one day and get the recipe. That's when it all began... everyone loves them! and I love making them for people!!! I just thought I would post some of the ones I have made! Of course some look better than others, I'll still working on perfecting them. Now, Granny Peg had that already down pat!

Okay, I didn't bake the Christmas, but I did decorate them so I had to throw it in.

Me and Laura made cookies a few weeks ago. She's my baker buddy and one day when i open the Pink Zebra, I'll have her to thank :)
